Not only is Alan Alda a fabulous actor, writer, director and activist. I highly respect his devotion to his wife and family of these many years while taking part in his chosen field. When I watch MASH or see him on Broadway in, ex., ART or Jake’s Women, I then apply Mr. Alda’s example of loyalty, responsibility and confidence in all aspects of his public life. He has helped me, along with my own strong marriage, explain these simple yet important concepts to my teenager. Thank you, Mr. Alda.
